I just got back from the store and I had to have this be the first pic I post! Abbie is so funny.. I was buying some treats for conference weekend and she had to hold onto both root beers the entire time we were at the store and not to mention her leg was also kicked up the whole time!! When I went to check out she threw a fit when I took the root beers from her. She already knows the good stuff!!
* (Sorry I got way behind so this is a long post) *

SPRING TIME = BUSY TIME

Project #1: Justin and Abbie getting the side field ready for garden time .. hopefully we do better this year ;)
Project #2: We finally got some crusher fines to line the side of our house b/c our crazy dog has made a "great" running path that has no hope for any grass growing.

Project #3: Justin decided to dig the well deeper so that we would have more pressure when we irrigated.... and I think he wanted a happy wife b/c before it would take me ALL DAY to irrigate our lawns and garden... but not anymore:)

I'm not too sure what was happening here, but it was pretty neat seeing all that water shoot out of the well!

Project #4: Pouring a Patio!!! YEA!!! I have been wanting to do this since we moved in!!
It is so nice to have such great friends and family. We have had so much help with all our craziness!! Todd came down and helped us stamp the patio, it turned out really cool.. I'm excited!!
I thought this pic was kinda funny... I caught Justin watching Todd work, Todd with the "plumbers crack" and Kenzi walking on the new concrete! Just don't look too close at my ugly shed and dieing grass. Our house and yard is definitely a work in progress!!

The PBR came to town so of-course we had to go.. not only once but twice!! The first night Justin came late b/c he was conducting at a baptism.. hence the white shirt. He definitely looked out of place!! So since he didn't get to watch ALL of it we had to go back the next day.. but I have to say it was pretty fun! (Oh- for those of you that don't know what the PBR is it is professional bull ridding.. I didn't know until i married Justin)

Abbie especially loved it because her now favorite aunt Myka shared her chocolate ice cream. She definitely takes after her mom!!!

Justin again annoyed at me because I am trying to take pictures while he is trying to watch... whatever :)

My fam came down a couple of weekends ago.. which we love.. so we decided after church to go and shoot some hoops and throw the softball around. This is my "little" bro Zack. He thinks super hot now that he can dunk the bball. But I have to admit it is pretty cool!

Of-course it didn't take very long for Justin to find a hose and go after Zack!!! I keep trying to get Justin to act his age when he is around my brothers but I'm about to accept that, that will NEVER happen!! Between my dad, brothers and Justin it is always crazy when we get together..but I love it!!

Although Justin's "great" idea definitely back-fired!! They both got completely SOAKED!!

My brother Preston is serving his mission in Africa and sent Abbie these cute African shoes. Although I they are a little too big but I think they will fit her perfect when he gets home. We definitely miss and love him!! I also love this pic b/c it shows her cute little feet.. they are one of my favorite things about her. They already have a little arch.. it is soo cute!!

This is another picture of what I come home to!! Justin strapped Abbie in her car seat so she couldn't get into things and then put on baby Einstein!! Its always something new with those two. They both make me laugh!!
I have to say that conference weekend is one of my favs!! It always includes way too much eating, way too much laziness, and hangin with lots of family.. Oh ya and of course I do love to listen to all the wonderful speakers!! :) Garret, (Justins bro) as you can see definitely got a lot out of the Saturday sessions. Don't ask me why he has Abbies seat on his head!!! He is so funny.. justin and i were bustin up because not only did he have a seat on his head but he was also snoring SO LOUD!!!

9 MONTHS OLD!! I tried FOREVER to try and get her to look at me and this is what I got! She was way too interested in taking off and playing with her shoes!!

I can't believe it .. my little babe is 9 months old!! I took her the Dr. for her check-up and it is pretty much confirmed.. my baby is a shrimp!! She is 26 inches long and weighs 15 lbs, meaning she is only in the 5% for height and 8% for weight!! But she definitely makes up for it with her sassy personality and BIG ATTITUDE!!! She is so much fun and definitely keeps me on my toes! Her favorite thing to do right now it scrunch up her nose and lips while breathing hard- kinda hard to explain but really funny. Her favorite games are peek-aboo, rolling the ball back and forth with each other and daddy or anyone chasing her. Although I love to play those games with her, one of my most favorite traits about my sweet little girl is she is a born shopper!!:) A few weeks ago her and I went to Mesa and at first I was nervous that she was going to be a handful but she was an angel!! She absolutely loved being in her stroller walkin through all the malls and other shopping centers! And when I say we went shopping I mean we really went shopping ALL DAY LONG!!! I think my mom and I have found us a new partner! Justin is also super happy because Abbie loves animals. Every time we walk by the window she makes a little screaming noise meaning that she wants to go watch the horse and dog. Justin is counting the days until he can put her in the saddle...yikes!! We both absolutely love to watch her grow and discover new things and are excited to see her become a sweet (and probably feisty) little girl!!

I know that I just barely said that Fall and Christmas were my most favorite times of the year..but right now summer can't come fast enough!! It has been pretty warm here the past few days so Justin and I have definitely gotten in the "mood"! We have been spending as much time as we can outside tryin to fix up our yard.. and planning what different projects we want to do this year. He doesn't get in this mood very often so I have to take advantage of it while it lasts! :) A couple of weeks ago the weather was great again so Abbie and I went to the zoo with some friends. It was a lot of fun. Abbie absolutely loved being outside and watching the kids play. The Albq zoo really is neat... I hadn't been to a zoo in forever so it was fun seeing all the different animals.

We couldn't really figure what exactly this tiger was doing to the log.. it was kinda funny!

As we were eating out ice cream cones these peacocks were walking all around us.. the kids loved it!

Last weekend we went to Farmington to visit my cousins. It was a tun of fun! They are getting ready to open a new business where they sell joyners ( they're kinda like sand rails). So of course we had to go and try them out. I have to say I am definitely turning into such a wimp as I get older because it freaked me out. I thought for sure we weren't going to make it up some of the hills Orrin took me over!!

Justin loved it.. he now thinks he has to have one!!

Abbie and Payson who are a month apart had a great time playin in the dirt. I only caught it in her mouth twice.. thats ok -right!:)

Of course we had to take pics of them in the joyner, and getting those two to both look at me at the same time was impossible!!

We took Abbie to her first UNM vs BYU b-ball game. I couldn't tell who liked it more - Justin because UNM killed BYU or Abbie because of all the noise and action around her!!

No matter what I do I can never get Abbie to look at me while I take her picture. And of-course Justin wouldn't look at me either because he was too into the game and embarrassed that I was taking so many pics! But I did it anyway:)

Abbie loves to give kisses and hugs!!

The other night Abbie honestly had the worst night EVER!! She woke up almost every hour.. it was the worst!! I usually don't get too mushy but I have to say I have the best hubby! At about 4 AM he came and got her from me and took her in by the fire and she finally fell asleep there for the rest of the night. I found them the next morning and had to take a pic!

As I was getting pictures off my camera I found this one!! Now I know how Justin entertains Abbie while I am gone! Poor baby.. but i guess it is kinda funny

Abbie has definitely found her own way of movin around. She tilts her head back, arches her back and then kicks her legs so she can scoot on her head. It really is pretty funny to watch her do it.

So this is where my sweet babe gets her red hair. My little sis Cambria! Her hair doesn't look too red in this pic but when she was younger in was a lot redder. I hope Abbie's turns out to be just as beautiful as Cam's. I have to say it is kinda funny seein me with my dark hair holdin by babe with her red hair. But we love her red hair and her red headed attitude!!

I know this is a little late but GO CARDINALS... Super Bowl party here we come :)!! Last weekend was a lot of fun. We met up with my family at my grandparents house to watch the game. It was great- a winning team and lots of food and fam what else do ya need! Of course I didn't get any pics b/c we were all too into the game!

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone!! We had so much fun this year! One of the funnier parts of this Christmas was a party that Justin and I had at our house. We had a bunch of friends come over and bring white elephant gifts. We first played a game where everyone sits in a circle and passes the presents to the right, left, throw across the circle etc. as a story is read. It was pretty crazy! But my fav was the white elephant exchange. I was going to post some of the pics of the party but either the gifts were a little too "crazy" (if you know what i mean:) or our faces were distorted from laughing so hard!! To say the least it was a fun party.. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time!!
But my most favorite part this year was playing santa for my little babe!! Even though she really had no clue what was going on and for the most part would much rather play with the paper and boxes then her presents, it was still a blast!!

One of my good friends Skye taught me how to make this cute tutu. They are so easy, I even made one for my sister and nieces! I was trying to take one of her with her Christmas tutu on in front of the tree but as you can see she didnt really like that idea.

This year we went to SJ for Christmas. Everyone was there except my bro Preston who is on a mission in Africa. It was neat because we all sent him money before Christmas so he could do something neat with it for a family there and then tell us about it when he got to call Christmas day. He ended up going to an orphanage in Africa and using the money to help make their Christmas a little better. It was so neat to hear him talk about it and all the other great experiencs he is having there. We sure miss him but wouldn't have him any other place!

Abbie liked her new toy for about two seconds then went on to destroy the presents that are right next to her
Karli helped Abbie open every present! She is so funny .. every time I talk to her on the phone she asks if Abbie is big yet so she can play with her and if she can talk to her on the phone!!

Karli is definetly our little princess. She got a vanity so she can put makeup on all day while listening to music (she had to have a radio just like zack). She is always wearing a princess dress and dancing around! On Christmas she put so much makeup on that the next day her eyes were puffy!!

So finally got her snow white dress!!!
After Christmas we always go up to my grandmas house for a yummy lunch!! I think I gained at least 10 lbs! All we did is EAT!! This is Abbie with my mom and gram.

The day after Christmas it snowed all day long!! So we all decided to take advantage of it and go tubing. After finally tracking down one sled and one tube (not much of a selection in SJ) we were off to patterson pond.

It was snowing the whole time we were out there, so we FROZE!! My poor little brother zach. He is so tall and has such big feet and hand that none of the boots or gloves fit him so he put walmart bags around his feet and then put his shoes on. It was so funny. Poor guy he went completley numb! I wish I would have gotten a picture!!
We pulled the tube behind the truck until it popped then the boys found two mattresses so they some how rigged those up behind the truck!! It was actually alot of fun ..we could fit at least three people on the mattress. I know the things you do when you are in a small town!!

Justin kept running into this same bush after going down the hill! There really is a sled under there if you look close! :)

Karli and I after going down the hill... we made a new track so snow was in our face the whole way down! Karli was done at that point and so was I! It was alot of fun, but so so cold!!!

This is my favorite time of the year! I absolutely love the fall with all the changing colors, yummy smelling candles, and of course all the hords of food!! Although I love fall- Christmas is the best!! We cheated and started listening to Christmas music and put up most our Christmas decorations about two weeks before Thanksgiving! :) Every night Justin has been building a fire and even though it sometimes makes a mess it is so fun going to sleep listening to the wood crack as it burns!! There is something about a fire that makes a home feel so cozy!!

This time of year is always so crazy-busy.. here is just some of the stuff we have been up to..

The friday after Thanksgiving all the sego men went hunting. They all got tags for cow elk! Justin was so excitied he had been preparing for weeks! He ended up getting his on the first day..but still ended up staying out there for almost a week so everyone else could get one.
So - me and Abbie hung out all week.. I definetly give it up for all the single moms!!! Of course the one time Justin is out of town my babysitter was also out of town. ( I dont think I have mentioned that I work as a hygienist mon and tue 8-2. Which is the perfect schedual and I really like it) So my good friend Kuli saved me and watched my crazy girl!! Abbie loved hangin out with her cute kids. I owe you Kuli!!!

This has to be the one thing I hate about fall- ALL THE LEAVES!!! This doesn't even do it justice. We had already racked about twice that much .. this is just what is left of the front yard.. we haven't even started the back yard yet!!!

Right before the melt down..

and the melt down!!! Abbie and I both feel the same about all the leaves!!

Another reason why I love fall is football season!! All my bros have played and we love going home for their games!! Zacks team won so now they are state champs two years in a row - YEA!! This is my fam at the game.

Abbie loves her uncle Nate! She also loves cheering for Zack. I am bummed b/c I didn't get any pics of him after the game. But he did a great job!!

With all the work parties, ward parties, friend parties, family parties, baking, eating, wrapping, cleaning, shopping etc. etc. this is how Abbie deals with it all ! :) I hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
